Let’s be honest: We’re all waiting for the GTI and R versions of the new Golf, aren’t we? However, they won’t be around until late 2020 or early 2021.
Until then, we took the chance to have a look at the brand new Golf MK8 with the 1.5 TSI motorization to see if it’s a worthy successor to the Golf MK7.
We managed to increase the performance to 180 HP, which is an impressive improvement over stock and this also lays down in the acceleration times from 100 – 200 km/h.
